Horizontal inequality and multi-sectarian societies

چکیده

After the beginning of Arab Spring and conflict in Syria, researchers from all over world are trying to understand reasons that led civil war country. Many hypotheses raised, deterioration socioeconomic conditions, increasingly harsh political police repression against regime's opponents, interest regional powers changing Syrian regime. In this article, we decided explore another dimension conflict. applying a questionnaire group refugees Brazil, sought perception respondents about existence or not horizontal inequality between confessional groups, economic, social, religious, cultural spheres. The result found sheds light on important role groups as an source discontent frustration, which may have contributed breaking State's social pact.
